Challenge: Communicate the fact that Pathways is a high-end site in beautiful Caledon East, and convince homeowners moving from Brampton or other locations that the move north is worthwhile, and that the community of Pathways and area of Caledon East is a great place to live.
Strategy: Make the community truly stand-apart exceptional.
Solution: We designed Pathways to be a community like no other. Pathways is divided into six distinct neighbourhoods and features pathways winding their way through the community to suit all passions – for joggers’, bikers, dog walking, a stroller loop, and so on. Pathways features two beautiful parks: central Pathways Park with winding pathways, gorgeous landscaping, a butterfly garden, a basketball court, a playground for children, charming benches and a picturesque trellis welcoming residents into the park; and a more remote, private park, Hideaway Park, which features natural landscaping and winding pathways. The community has many other benefits, such as a unique “Green” Saver program to save residents money and help save the earth; stunning features, from rain showerheads and furniture vanities in ensuite bathrooms to decorative kitchen islands and premier landscaping packages; and homes with stunning designs that evoke the feeling of old Caledon. A Pathways Facebook page was set up to promote the community and to post the latest news and photos, and successfully got potential homebuyers engaged with fun contests and updates. Meanwhile, a community blog shared local events and goings-on, showing readers what a great area Caledon East is.
Results: Interest in Pathways was huge, as was the number of registrants. Pathways sold out of its Limited Release at a Blueprint Preview Event in November 2010, then opened by preview appointment in May 2011 to tremendous success.
